Apparently, the word Taboo was brought back/introduced by Captain James Cook upon a voyage to/from the South Seas in 1777.

Did you think Captain Cook knew, the impact and ado,
When in 1777 he brought back the word taboo?

It would dictate human behavior, like a social prohibition
Like JC is the only savior any other is superstition
Governments & religions that told us what to do
Said to act and believe differently would simply be taboo

The media was limited, no connotations of lick, sip or suck
But now we hear quite commonly, “Hey! Blow me bitch, let’s fuck!”
Individually we are the deciders of what is or isn’t to be
Like trying to define the meaning of art, it’s whatever you want to see

So, to boo to be or be to boo, I hate writing, it makes me feel sour
But I’ve got to send whatever I got cause I’m approaching the deadline hour
God Greg set the rules of the writing group of what is –socially- accepted
But on this subject of Taboo breaking the rules must be expected

For it came to light - in conversation with Herrin- an idea did ensue
That by simply not writing about it, I would be partaking in the breaking of Taboo
So to boo gods Greg’s rules, I will not send nor write this poem story
Instead I’m going to dictate it to my wife who’s name is Audrey
